The thing to know about pottery is that nothing is perfect. Take enough time and you eventually find some flaw. A drop too much glaze, a crack, a dent, and places with no glaze at all are just some examples of flaws that can be present in ceramics.

I like to see what flaws can be used to make designs on purpose for ware that can either be usable or ornamental.
